Notre Dame CATHEDRAL

About this Project

After experimenting with some cardboard in previous art projects, I was really interested in coming back to the material and using it to shape my next project. So by using a building as the focal point of my project, I figured that would be an excellent way to utilize the material. For the first part, I want to create a cardboard model of a cross-section of the cathedral. I only used cardboard, hot glue, and an Exacto knife to construct it.

For my second past of this project, I focused on the rose window within the cathedral. The stained glass is dedicated to the New Testament and holds a lot of importance within the church. I experimented with some linocuts to try and mimic the shapes of the window.
