CTRL+ALT+ZINE is a fashion magazine designed in a cookbook format, serving as a guide to early Y2K fashion trends. The project distills key trends of the era into six distinct looks, each representing a unique aspect of the time while highlighting the resurgence of these styles in contemporary fashion.
The “Middle School” spread evokes a dreamlike memory of 2000s childhood fashion. My responsibilities included assisting with the concept design, creating mood boards, and sourcing outfits at second hand stores. I also captured many of the final photographs featured in the spread, which another team member designed.
I helped bring the “As Seen on TV” spread to life through photography, styling, and design—helping to curate outfits, photograph models, and design the final layout with Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
